The aim of this article is to introduce the approach of Reinhart Koselleck and the academic achievement of German conceptual history.This article can be divided into four parts. First, this article presents a brief biography of Reinhart Koselleck. Second, this article would focus on the assumption and explanation of historical times issued by Reinhart Koselleck. Third, this article would explore the compilation and basic discipline of Geschichtliche Grundbegriffe: Historisches Lexikon zur politisch-sozialen Sprache in Deutschland / Basic Concepts in History: A Historical Dictionary of Political and Social Language in Germany. Finally, this article would discover the relevant literature of Begriffsgeschichte to discuss the continuity and change of this approach.
